I am very excited to share that I have won the Glasgow Women’s Library Slam.

The theme of the slam was Elemental Women, so the first round was for a poem inspired by that theme. I chose to write about mermaids – you can watch the video of my poem A Mermaid Returns to the Sea below, and read more about the slam here.
